Frutillar

The perfect day trip! Hop on your gravel or mountain bike and soak up the surroundings. You start out of Puerto Varas on the old train tracks and cycle towards Llanquihue. After a few ups and downs you get to the picturesque town of Frutillar with cafes and a little market in the center of the town. Enjoy your lunch or a "kuchen" a pie introduced by the german settlers around 1850. Or you can stop for a "shop" - a pint at the the Tropera Beer Garden. With full batteries you can head back on your bike towards Puerto Varas.
